hmm.

i agree. i dont know why this song is rated to be so low. i like your chord changes in this song. its pretty well put together for the most part. keep it up

good job

you invented a good melody and a good counter melody towrds the end. alot can happen with this song that i feel you didnt bring out its full potential but it was good nevertheless. im not sure if the chords you were using were necessarily right for the song and the fast paced piano could have used more support from something like the bass to go along with it. good job and keep it coming.

interesting ..

frankly, like alot of people, i was expecting something symphonic. it reminds me of a game from nintendo 64. if you heard of it, it reminds me of "bomberman hero". it sounds almost exactly like that style of music and that music is very loungy. i would definitly consider this to go to something like ambient or lounge or something with a soft techno beat. nevertheless, nice job.

Thx. I changed the title and the description now. :P

good job !

good use of electronic percussion. its not a bad loop altogether. my only suggestion is go deeper into the theme you have i guess. i like how it picks up the beat a little more towards the end before it fades into its original classical settings. nice song!

Thanks for the kind words. I wont be changing the composition anymore though. After all that time its time to move on to a new project. I do see your point by the by.

good job!

i might suggest. move on into the song! go more deeply into the melody you started and continue into that mood. its too repetitive for my taste. if you're going to make it repetitive, use it with some change too cause it does get boring after a while. for example just check out one of my songs. i made that to be repetitive but it came out ok. good job keep it coming.

im not sure but..

it sounds like you took what was already made and just recorded on it. like you INCLUDED the piano part. the strings and percussion sound just fine but the piano is not even in the same key. the strings and percussion alone would have been ok. if youre going to add that piano part, try and first think of the key the song is in, and try to think about a certain melody you're going to use cause those series of notes dont make musical sense.

CatacombKid responds:

Well that's the thing, I was trying to make it sound weird and out of key, it was totally experimental, thanks for bombing it though, I really appreciate that.

its good and..

interesting at the same time. the dynamics for that oboe??? i think was playing sounded a little louder then the background tempo going on. it a little drawn out and bland in my personal opinion but good musicality nevertheless.

Very good

its not bad at all. its better than most of this music people are putting up nowadays. well, as far as piano solo's go. I like it.

here what i recommend...

Basics. i guarantee once you have basic tempo and chords down and some pitch in your head that it'll be one-hundred times better. keep practicing.
